Liposuction removes the stubborn fat deposits to help reshape the body contour
Liposuction is a surgical procedure designed to refine body contours by addressing areas of stubborn fat that may persist despite regular diet and exercise. Common areas for treatment include the abdomen, hips, thighs, chin, neck, upper arms, and buttocks.
Liposuction is not a weight-loss procedure but rather a method to target localised fat deposits and alter body proportions. Various liposuction techniques are available, and the most appropriate approach is determined based on individual needs, the treatment area, and overall goals. The procedure involves the use of fine cannulas inserted through small incisions to remove excess fat with precision.
Liposuction is typically performed in a surgical setting under sedation or general anaesthesia, depending on the extent of treatment. Following the procedure, bruising and swelling are common. Bruising generally subsides within 2 to 3 weeks, while swelling may take 6 to 8 weeks to resolve. A compression garment is worn postoperatively to support healing and optimise results.
Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality care, offering thorough preoperative consultations and attentive post-operative support to ensure a professional and patient-centred experience.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks, and results vary between individuals. It is important to consider all options carefully and seek professional medical advice before proceeding.
General risks & complications that are common to all procedures can be found here.

- Skin discolouration, pigmentation changes, or persistent swelling.
- Unfavourable scarring, that may be more noticeable than expected.
- Damage to deeper structures, such as nerves, blood vessels, muscles, lungs, or abdominal organs.
